Stayed on the 9th floor. Nice view of central Manchester, tick. The parking is £20 per night yes it’s central Manchester but that’s rather steep. The biscuits, tea & coffee could have been more premium for a £170 a night room. The room was also very small and looked tired. Overall not the best value money. Tv is large & The house keepers are very friendly.

Thec receptionist was not the warmest and did NOT offer us wecome drinks that were part of our deal?? We did not notice them until later in the evening. The meal that we also paid for in advance had very limited choice for none meat eaters. We got charged £6.00 for ONE glass of coke. And the restaurant was cold. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. This visit was for my 50th birthday but they didn't acknowledge that eventhough I saw give another guest a complimentary cake for their birthday. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. But overall average.

Met ian on reception as we arrived, very friendly, very helpful, asked us the reason for our stay and as it was an anniversary we were upgraded to suite, given a drinks voucher for the bar and a complimentary late checkout. Checkin and checkout was simple and quick, every member of staff we passed spoke to us and were very friendly. Hotel looked after our bags after our stay aswell so we could explore Manchester without a suitcase. Room was very clean, well stocked and a nice place to be. View from the 14th floor was really good, could see Manchester citys ground, which isn't the hotels fault! Being really picky a couple of bits in the bathroom could probably do with a refresh but it took away nothing from the stay or the service. Would definitely consider staying again if we visited Manchester in the future. Thanks

To be a 4-star hotel, I was expecting better. When taking a shower, water was going out of the bath to the floor. The frame of one of the windows of the room was broken. The welcoming indications mentioned a robe but I couldn't find it. Also they mentioned about how to call the reception but there was no telephone. One of the shower towels was already dirty before I used it. The carpet had stains and the look of the room was old and not well maintained. On the other hand, the service and the receptionist were great, considerate and very useful
